We are Zelda and Rosie, and we are paws-itively thrilled to be your Dogs of the Month for February! 🐾
We made the long trek all the way from Texas to find our forever home here, and while we might be "foster fails," we think we’re a pretty big success. We’ve been regulars at our favorite park. I’m Zelda, a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Pitbull mix, and that’s me on the left with the big smile. My big sis Rosie is a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix, and she’s the cutie on the right!
Our humans thank Friends of Ellicott for making such a special place us. They have been visiting the park since 2018, and are so impressed with the transformation over the years. We’ve watched this place transform into a total doggy paradise. Here is the lowdown on what we’re up to at the park:
Zelda’s Mission: I’m the resident sprinter! If there is a squirrel in sight, I’m on it. I also consider myself the "Welcome Wagon" and try to give kisses to every single dog I meet. 💋
Rosie’s Routine: I’m a social butterfly, especially when I see other small dogs! I get so excited I can’t help but whine and show off my best smile.
Our Shared Goal: We are currently "Agility Queens" in training. We’ve been working hard to master all the new equipment, and honestly, we’ll do just about any trick when treats are involved.
We love our this amazing park. If you see us on the agility course, come say hi.
